While cleaning out my garage I decided to clean out my fire barrel and replacing the furnace pipes as well and upon doing so I got some soot or debris from the old pipes in my eye. It immediately started to burn and scratch my eye... I continued on thinking it was just something small and over night it got so much worse. Every movement of my eye it would scratch and burn. I found myself constantly rubbing my eye (at a time where you shouldn’t be touching your face) and holding a warm cloth. I tried flushing it under the sink, dunking my head in a bucket of water and blinking and finally showering and letting the water run down my face... nothing worked. In fact it felt worse.
It was then my brilliant wife told me to contact my good friends over at Boas Vision Associates. I was a bit worried because I knew it would be a while before someone could maybe see me with this pandemic happening. After minutes of walkthroughs on the phone and a brief tutorial I found instant relief. They walked me through a flushing technique I’ve never done before and I’ll never forget. The next morning my eye was nearly 100% and I couldn’t have been more relieved and grateful. They were so kind and patient with my lack of eye experience and the guided me to safely remove what ever it was that was causing me so much pain. Thank you Boas Vision Associates! You are the best. Anyone who needs eye care or is looking for a new provider, I Highly recommend giving them a call.
Thank you again!
